Through each day, my practice of making art is a way for me to relax and practice composition. Whether the medium is visual, musical, or textiles, they each have a design aesthetic and composition that are informed by the creator.
Somehow, whether I like it or not, my voice seems to be coming through.
I have a lot going on inside. Take a peek.
COLOR NOTEBOOK
Who? Who? I drew an owl, that’s who.
ABSTRACT FLOWERS
Drawing these abstract flora often feels like a guided meditation. There is freedom in the simplicity.
TEXTILES
I am practicing different stitches for this new moonscape I am working on. Hopefully, I will not take forever to finish it.
The beauty is in the process and in the doing.
I understand this now.
I hope you find creative joy in your own way.
