Whipping Up a Creative Storm for the Months Ahead
Now that this year is almost done, here is a glimpse at what I have planned for 2025.
You are going to get more of everything.
More Music
I will be posting covers of songs played on my ukulele as a way for me to keep studying this instrument.
Also, some jazz piano. More on that later.
More Art and Video
I will be posting videos showcasing some of the art I am making.
Larger-scale art pieces that I am working on will be featured.
More drawings (and maybe even a comic or two) are on the way.
Travelogues
In late January, I will be taking a family trip back to my homeland of the Philippines. I will document the sights, sounds, and tastes I encounter through lots of photography and art. All of it will be shared exclusively here at WPR.
Other trips will be highlighted.
Special Projects
I will give progress updates on my new narrative short film project that will be finished in 2025.
Phase 2 of my garden project will commence.
More music and shows for my band Ancestral Tongue
I will take a short break next week, and there will not be a WPR issue on January 3. My family will be celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday on New Year’s Eve. It’s going to be a fun and lively affair with country line dancing, some ukulele playing by yours truly, cake, and tasty charcuterie.
Thank you all for following along on this creative journey of mine. Life is about to get a lot more colorful around here.
